UPDATE: Driver dies after crash in Witney
A man has died following a crash in Ducklington Lane, Witney.
Staff from South Central Ambulance Service were called at 9.48am to the scene, which is between Thorney Leys/Station Lane and Witney Road.
The crash involved a Suzuki Swift car and a Vauxhall Vivaro van and Thames Valley Police have now confirmed the driver of the car subsequently died.
The road was closed as emergency services attended but reopened at about 11am.
The accident investigation is continuing.
- Thames Valley Police previously said it was the driver of the van who had died. This was incorrect.
