CATERHAM F1 administrators say they are talking to three “seriously interested” parties about buying.
The Leafield Formula 1 team called in London-based administrators Smith and Williamson in October, making 230 staff redundant.
Administor Henry Shinners said: “While there are a larger number of parties claiming to be interested, I think we would say that there are three currently who appear to have a serious interest in an acquisition and have the financial resources to fund a Formula 1 team. A number of interesting options are being explored, but it would be fair to say a deal is not imminent.”
