ST MARY’S Church in Witney was sprinkled with snow on Saturday morning as West Oxfordshire found itself in the grip of wintry weather.
Residents of Church Enstone were also among those who woke to snow.
The weekend snow soon melted once the sun came out but more snow and sleet was forecast to fall overnight and later today on higher ground in the Cotswold hills around Chipping Norton and the Wychwoods.
The cold snap is expected to last until Friday.
