MOBILE phone users in Charlbury have said the town is still experiencing signal problems despite upgrade work being completed last week.
Residents have formed an action group to lobby for better service.
The group, called CAMPUS – Charlbury Areas Mobile Phone Users – said it has fought for compensation and a solution to the town’s connection problems.
Resident and founder Trevor Taylor said: “O2 has accepted many customers in the Charlbury area are without mobile phone service, many of whom have made formal complaints.
He added: “They are not able to say when engineers will revisit the site to correct faults nor can they say when the mast will be fully operational.”
Mr Taylor also said the company had offered compensation to those affected in the way of a free month’s line rental.
Work to upgrade a mast on the town’s fire station was completed on Tuesday July 28.
