A man armed with a bar threatened staff in a petrol station before stealing cash and driving off on a motorbike.
Police said the robbery happened at the Cannon Pool service station in Hailey Road at about 9.50pm yesterday.
The man demanded money before taking cash from the till and making off on the motorbike, which he had parked by the cash point on the forecourt, towards Hailey
No one was injured during the incident.
Police said the man was described as white and was wearing a black motorcycle helmet, beige trousers, a black and yellow jacket and orange gloves. He was carrying a red rucksack.
The motorcycle is black with bright blue trim on the wheels.
