HORSE tack has been stolen from Witney Pony Partners riding school.
Police said a large amount of tack, including five horse saddles, was taken from the business in Crawley Road between about 8pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.
Offenders gained entry to the riding school by climbing a wooden fence and forcing their way into a portable building.
Two of the stolen saddles are marked with 'Brook and Welli' on their cantles.
One of the saddles is a distinctive small pony tan western saddle (pictured).
The thieves also took bridles, girths, reigns, stirrups, riding hats, Cavallo horse boots and two horse rugs.
Some of the items are branded Aerborn, Wintec and Thoroughbred.
PC Laura Oakes said: "I would like to raise awareness of this incident to people in the horse and farming community, and ask them to please remember to mark equipment making it harder for offenders to sell on.
“I would also encourage people to make it more difficult for offenders to gain entry to their properties and consider extra security options like smart lighting and CCTV.
“If you would like any crime prevention advice I would advise people to contact their local neighbourhood team.”
