HOMES in Wallingford are currently without power due to a electrical fault in the area.
Seven homes are without power in St Martin's Street and Market Place.
The problem was first reported by Scottish Southern Electric two-and-a-half hours ago.
Traffic is becoming congested in St Martin's Street, Wallingford.
A spokesman for SSE said: "We apologise for the loss of supply.
"The problem has been caused due a fault in an underground cable.
"We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed.
"Our engineers are on site working to get the power back on as quickly as they can. If you need more information contact 0800 072 7282 and quote reference AA4717."
It is expected the power will be back up and running by 5.20pm.
