YOUNGSTERS enjoyed an Olympic-themed sports day to get into the spirit of this summer's Rio games.
As the county celebrated National Olympic Day, Carterton Community College invited its five feeder primary schools to take part in a host of sporting activities.
They were also paid a visit from Jamie Baulch, a former British sprint athlete and television presenter.
Mr Baulch won the 400 metres gold medal at the 1999 World Indoor Championships, was a member of British 4 × 400 metres relay teams, and silver medal at the 1996 Olympic Games.
Primary schools pupils performed an opening ceremony, on Thursday, with each representing the different continents.
Mr Baulch is pictured with Jake Daniels, 12, and Alex Oliver, 13, who were warming up to take part in a tennis tournament.
