Drivers are facing delays tonight following a crash between a van and a woman cyclist in Witney.
Th A415 Station Lane eastbound was closed between Thorney Leys crossroads and the Ducklington Lane junction, with traffic unable to turn onto Station Lane from Ducklington Lane.
South Central Ambulance spokesman David Gallagher said the accident happened outside the Tesco Express in Station Lane shortly before 4.30pm.
He added: "A call was taken at 16.29 reporting a collision between a van and a cyclist. The female cyclist sustained abdominal injuries – not serious or life-threatening – and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
"The van driver was treated at the scene for shock.
"We had a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance at the scene."
