HEAVY rain this morning is causing dangerous driving conditions across Oxfordshire, police have warned.
There is poor visibility and standing water on stretches including the M40 after persistent rain overnight and into today.
Thames Valley Police says there have been several collisions already in the poor conditions.

While temperatures have risen to about 8C, strong cold winds mean it will feel more like 2 or 3C for most of the day.
The heavy rain is set to continue until this afternoon.
All major roads in Oxfordshire are currently clear, but police are urging drivers to slow down with spray affecting vision, particularly on the motorway.
The M40 currently has speed restrictions in place in the southern part of the county.
