A 40-year-old man has been pronounced dead at a home in Charlbury.
A police cordon is currently in place in Hughes Close after the man died last night.
Police said the death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.
A force spokesman added a file will be prepared for the coroner and that no arrests had been made.
He added: "Thames Valley Police officers were called yesterday at about 11.35pm to a property in Hughes Close by the ambulance service.
"Officers attended the scene, where sadly a 40-year-old man had been pronounced dead."
A man told the Oxford Mail there had been a large police presence in the area and said he saw forensic officers in white suits enter the house.
