TRAFFIC that queued for seven miles on the A34 after a five-vehicle crash has cleared.
The northbound road was partially blocked after the crash at East Ilsley near Fiddler's Lane, which caused tailbacks past Chieveley.
One lane was closed and recovery drivers reportedly also got stuck in queues themselves while on the way to clear the crash.
South Central Ambulance spokeswoman Michelle Archer said crews were called at 11.32am.
She said two adults and two children travelling in the same car were assessed and taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford for 'precautionary' checks.
There were no serious injuries.
Highways England reported that travel time was delayed by an hour.
The delays had cleared by 2.30pm.
