OXFORD MAGISTRATES

Stefan Radu Vasiliu, 27, of Wytham Close, Eynsham, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver or rider of a vehicle when required to between March 29 2017 and April 26 2017, having been required by or on behalf of the Chief Officer of Police for Thames Valley. Fined £660. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £85. Driving record endorsed with six points.

Jermaine Ashford Jones, 35, Peat Moors, Oxford, admitted breaking a restraining order on conviction by without reasonable excuse, contacted a woman and attended an address in Oxford on August 21 2017 which he was prohibited from doing so by a restraining order imposed on January 25 2016. He also admitted committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence for the offences of breach of a restraining order and criminal damage. Community order made. Defendant must carry out 100 hours unpaid work within 12 months. Fined £85. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85. Suspended sentence of 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 18 months amended by extending operation period to 24 months.

Kevin Dean Lewis-Wood, 37, of Poplar Close, Garsington, Oxford, admitted stealing wine to the value of £14 belonging to Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford on August 7 2017. Discharged conditionally for six months. Ordered to pay compensation of £9.25, a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Mark Olliffe, 43, of Cowley Road, Oxford admitted failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to Oxford Magistrates Court, or as soon after that time as was reasonably practicable, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on July 8 2017 at Oxford Police Station. Fined £40. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30.

Jonathon Llewellyn Cury, 31, of Roman Road, Wheatley, admitted with intent to cause someone harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress on July 13 2011. Also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 21 2011, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on August 30 2011 at Cowley Police Station. Community order made. Defendant must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work with the next 12 months. Ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85.

Samuel William Cooper, 23, of Merlin Way, Langford Village, Bicester, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place on August 20 2017 in Merlin Road, Bicester. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Adam James Nash, 39, of Chillingworth Crescent, Wood Farm, admitted harassment by breaching a restraining order on conviction on July 20 2017 in Didcot. Nah sent text messages to a person which he was prohibited from doing so by a restraining order imposed on July 4 2017. Sentenced to prison for 42 days. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

CONOR DAVIES, 19, of Hazeldene Gardens, Banbury, admitted driving while above the legal alcohol limit with 45 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath at Chipping Norton on August 16. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

WAYNE LANGRIDGE, 23, of Bletchingdon Road, Kirtlington, admitting driving above the legal alcohol limit with 67 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath at Maple Avenue, Kidlington on August 17 as well as driving without third party insurance. He was fined £180 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.

HARRY MCARTHUR, 25, of Gatteridge Street, Banbury, admitted theft by employee on September 14 at Banbury by stealing two Gerdore torque wrenches, to the value of £300.00 belonging to DHL Banbury. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

SIAN GRANTHAM, 29, of Calthorpe Road, Banbury, admitted stealing two bottles of spirits valued at £41 from M&S at Castle Quay, Banbury, on August 2 as well as assaulting a man and a woman at George Street, Banbury. She was made subject to a community order to include an electronic curfew for two months between 7pm and 7am and must pay compensation to M&S of £20.50, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

GRAHAM TAYLOR, 55, of Longelandes Way, Banbury, admitted assaulting a woman on July 30 at West Street, Banbury and causing criminal damage and using threatening or abusive behaviour at Banbury Health Centre on August 8. He was jailed for nine weeks suspended for 24 months and made subject to a community order to include alcohol treatment for six months and a rehabilitation activity requirement for 25 days.

He must also pay his victim £100 in compensation to the woman and £1,000 to the health centre and is subject to a restraining order.
