BANBURY MAGISTRATES

ALAN ROBINSON, 31, of Bodicote, Banbury, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on March 5 at Banbury. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 140 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay compensation of £350 and a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

MILES OXLADE, 31, of Griffith Road, Banbury, admitted three counts of assault against two women and a man on June 11 at Rotary Way, Banbury. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay compensation of £100 for each victim.

JOSHUA HUGHES, 33, of St Bernard’s Road, Jericho, admitted assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage by damaging a laptop, a wall and a mobile phone on September 2 at Heron Drive, Bicester. He was made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

COLIN SMITH, 50, of RAF Brize Norton, Carterton Road, Carterton, admitted harassment without violence between May 7 and June 4 of a woman at Witney. He was made subject to a community order to include 15 days rehabilitation activity requirement and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

ANGELA DANCS, 29, of Old Grimsbury Road, Banbury admitted assaulting a man and a woman on October 14 at Banbury. He was jailed for 12 months suspended for 12 months and made subject to a community order to include 150 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay compensation totalling £250 and a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.

PATRICK CLARKE, 42, of Acre End Close, Eynsham, admitted assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage to a Land Rover Discovery at Eynsham on September 3. He was made subject to a community order to include 15 days of a rehabilitation activity requirement and 50 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay compensation of £500 and court costs of £100.

PAUL LOCKER, 45, of Nursery Drive, Banbury, admitted possessing criminal property in the form of a Cleave and Co Fountain Pen between May 19 and August 7 and converting the pen into cash valued at £900 between August 7 and September 11 at Banbury. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay compensation of £900, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £775.

JOANNE SIMMS, 46, of Knoll Walk, Chipping Norton, admitted obtaining housing benefit through false representation between July 1 2012 and January 19 2016 at Chipping Norton as well as council tax benefit between June 28 2012 and January 19 2016, and Income Support between February 22 2006 and April 4 2009. She was jailed for eight weeks suspended for 18 months and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £135.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

CALLUM MITCHELL KENWARD, 21, of Moley Gardens, Wantage was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance and driving a vehicle without a license in B4493, Foxhall Road, Didcot on September 11. He was fined £660 and £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

DENIS KOUADIO KOUASSI, 55, of Churchill Road, Didcot, was convicted of driving a vehicle without a license in Great Western Drive, Didcot on July 17. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TIMOTHY WEST, 47, of Park End, Didcot, admitted speeding at 79mph, exceeding the limit of 60 mph in the M4 motorway on June 2. He was fined £846 and must pay a victim surcharge of £84 and court costs of £85.

KIEREN HAMMOND, 18, of Park View Court, Witney, admitted driving without due care and attention in High Street, Witney on March 28. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

UMAR SHAKEEL, 22, of Medill Close, Woodcote, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A4130, Brightwell-Cum-Sotwell on July 21. He was fined £300 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TIMOTHY MARRIS, 48, of Brampton Close, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a man and threatening another man with an offensive weapon at Poundland in Bury Street, Abingdon on August 23. He was sent to prison for four weeks and 26 weeks concurrent must pay compensation of £25 and £50.

TERRANCE HANKS, 37, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing protein powder worth £39.99 from a Holland and Barrett Store in Oxford on September 16. A community order was made and he must have treatment for drug dependancy for six months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £80 and court costs of £85.

LUKE POWELL, 29, of Gillians Way, Oxford admitted assaulting a man by beating at the Bullingdon Pub in Cowley Road, Oxford on August 13. A community order was made and he was placed under a curfew with electronic monitoring for three months between the hours of 10.30pm and 6am nightly. He must also carry out 120 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £80 and court costs of £700.

MIKE BALUSA, 25, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a man by beating in Oxford Ice Rink in Oxpens Road, Oxford on October 26. A community order was made and he must attend appointments with a rehabilitation officer. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £80.

JOHN JOYCE, 20, of Old Abingdon Road., Oxford admitted driving a vehicle without due care and attention in Ambassador Avenue, Oxford on June 14. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £400.

SALVATORE DE MICCO, 29, of Mill Lane, Oxford, was convicted of speeding on three separate occasions at 52mph, 55mph and 57mph, exceeding the limit of 30mph in Thame Road, Little Milton on May 6, 7 and 13. He was disqualified from driving for three months and fined £440 and a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £85.
