JOHNNY Fletcher slammed a treble as Minster Lovell eased to a 4-1 win over Carterton Rangers to pull away from the Witney & District FA Premier Division relegation zone, writes Anthony Barlow.

Sam Wright added a fourth, while Dan Hall bagged Rangers’ consolation.

Kirtlington picked up the points in a 5-3 win against visitors Carterton Town A.

Shane Probitts (2) led the way, with Jake East, Ross Gray and Nathan Kelly also finding the back of the net.

Steve Harries, Wes Christian and Olly Bush replied.

In the day’s only Division 1 game, hosts Chadlington saw off FC Nomads 2-1.

Lee Woodward scored both of Chadlington goals, with Chris Laurence hitting back for Nomads.

Charlbury Town Res slumped to a 2-1 defeat at Spartan Rangers Res in Division 2.

Matt Townsend and Filton Pavier scored the winning goals, with Michael Faulkner hitting back for Charlbury.

In Division 3, leaders Minster Lovell Res stretched their advantage at the top to five points after a 4-2 win over fellow title hopefuls FC Hollybush Res.

Craig Sallis, Gary Mitchell, Rui Alves and Luke Hessey netted Minster’s goals, with Steve Holder and Danny Brearley scoring for Hollybush.

Chipping Norton Town Res earned only their second win of the season as they saw off Witney Royals Res 2-1.

Two controversial penalties, both converted by Jack Knight, settled the match, with Andy Partlett on target for Royals.

The top two in Division 4 both recorded victories.

Wootton Res edged out Bletchingdon Res 2-1, thanks to goals from Elliott Higgins and Mark Mumford. Tom Knox replied for Bletchingdon.

Liam Barnes hit a treble as Kingham All Black Res beat Brize Norton Res 5-4.

Adrian Williams and Tom Matthews got the others, with Danny Claridge, Lee Litton, Jason Hirshfield and Gavin Smith replying for Brize.

A four-timer from Dave Wanless led Carterton Town B’s 14-1 demolition of FC Ascott Rangers.

Dan Chillington added a hat-trick, with Ryan Clements and Shay Lowthian hitting doubles.

Si Oakley, Jack Gibson and Tomas Mazur completed the rout, with Brandon Laing netting for Ascott.

A HAT-TRICK for Liam Readhead helped Witney Royals into the fourth round of the John Fathers Junior Shield after a 6-3 victory over fellow Witney & District side Kingham All Blacks.

Craig Isle, Miles Roberts and Dave Roberts were also on the scoresheet, with Chris Mills (2) and Sam Philpott replying.

Chipping Norton Town eased past Milton in a 6-1 victory.

Nathan Bott led the way with a double, while Rhys Warner-Carter, Kieran Watts, Dan Bott and Joey Lee were also on the mark.

Jim Littlewood netted Milton’s reply.

A treble for Jack Scott saw Tower Hill to a 5-0 victory over Benson Lions, Will Hayes and Cam Donohoe grabbing the others.

A brace for Kieran Watts plus goals for Luke Pettifer and Callum Hampson helped Spartan Rangers to a 4-1 victory at Chesterton.

Stonesfield went through 2-1 against hosts Goring United, Sam Bodinham and Mike Phipps scoring the goals.
