A MAN walked out of a Sainsbury's on Saturday morning with shopping worth £1,100 he had not paid for.
Police have appealed for help tracing the thief, who is described as white and wearing tan trousers with a black coat at the time of the theft.
But despite repeated requests they have still not released CCTV from the incident.
Police revealed earlier today it was 'mainly alcohol' taken in the theft, which took place at Didcot's Sainsbury's superstore on Central Drive at 9.30am yesterday.
The man was spotted on CCTV and staff confirmed the value of the items by doing a stock take.
Anyone who witnessesed the crime is asked to call police on 101.
Police have also urged supermarket customers to report to staff anyone spotted filling up a shopping trolley with alcohol so they can do extra checks.
