A MAN unleashed his anger on a group of friends after they asked him to move from their booth at an Oxford bar.

One 21-year-old man suffered facial and dental injuries after the attacker hurled a pint glass at his face at The Baron in Cowley Road.

He then head-butted another man in the same group before leaving the bar.

Police have today launched a CCTV appeal and said the man in the photo, pictured with tattooed arms and wearing a baseball cap, could have 'vital' infromation.

The attack happened at about 1.10am on Tuesday, January 30.

The friends were sat in one of the seating booths when the man approached the 21-year-old and sat up against him.

When asked to move, he became aggressive and smashed a glass on the floor before assaulting both victims.

Investigating officer PC Dave Black, based at Oxford Police Station, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this image, as I believe he could have vital information about this incident.

“If you know this man, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101.

 “Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any other information about the incident is urged to contact police as soon as possible."
