BANBURY MAGISTRATES

PAUL VALENTINE, 54, of Fordways, Crawley, admitted driving without third party insurance on February 19 at Witney. He was fined £398 and must pay a victim surcharge of £39 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for six months.

CRAIG DUCKETT, 31, of Western Crescent, Banbury, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty on June 2 at Banbury. He was fined £275 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

RYAN FERGUSON, 20, of Cherry Tree Way, Carterton, admitted possessing a kitchen knife in a public place without lawful authority on June 2 at Cherry Tree Way. He was jailed for three months suspended for 12 months and was made subject to a community order and carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.

NICHOLAS GORTON, 27, of Bluebell Way, Carterton, admitted breaching the terms of a sexual harm prevention order by deleting apps from a mobile phone between December 25 and January 3 at Carterton. He was made subject to a community order to include an electronically monitored overnight curfew for 28 days and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

STEVEN GRIFFITHS, 34, of Y Felinheli, Gwynedd, North Wales, admitted taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, driving above the legal alcohol limit as well as driving without third party insurance or a driving licence on June 5 at Chipping Norton. Had 61mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £955 and must pay a victim surcharge of £55 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

MATTHEW ROGERS, 44, of Oxford Road, Steeple Aston, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when requested on May 31 at Banbury. Ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

GEORGE COURTNEY-JACOBS, 20, of Southwell Road, Bicester, admitted failing to hand over a valid railway ticket for inspection when asked to do so at Darlington on August 2. He must pay compensation of £148 and £50 costs.

OXFORD MAGISTRATES

STEPHEN OYERA OCHOLA, 32, of Brome Place, Oxford, admitted possessing cocaine, a controlled Class A drug, in St Georges Manor, Oxford, on January 23. Fined £123, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85.

RUI MANUEL RODRIGUES RAPOSO, 36, of West End, Witney, admitted to drink-driving in Eynsham Road, Botley, with 60mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, and driving without insurance on May 13. Fined £549, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Banned from driving for 17 months.

JOHN STEVEN SIDDLE, 57, of Sycamore Road, Botley, admitted drink-driving on Botley Road, Oxford, with 93mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, on May 13. Fined £253, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Banned from driving for 23 months.

ROSS MICHAEL CANTWELL, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted damaging a fence valued at £80 in Poulton Place, Oxford, on May 14, and committing an offence while on a conditional discharge. Discharged conditionally for 18 months. Compensation £80.

DARREN BAKER, of Millington Road, Wallingford, admitted failing to keep his dog muzzled using a Baskerville muzzle when in a public place in Wallingford, despite a community protection notice being issued, on October 4, October 26 and January 17. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Victim surcharge £30 and costs £80.

DONNA MARIE DOWNIE, of Territorial Way, Oxford, admitted to failing to notify her local authority about her employment with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, despite knowing it would affect her entitlement to use a council tax reduction scheme, between September 29, 2014, and November 21, 2017. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £350 costs.

RICHARD HALL, of Fisher Close, Banbury, was convicted of knowing his child was failing to attend school regularly between September 5 and November 13. Fined £440, ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £176 costs.

CHARLOTTE JENKINS, 35, of Catherine Street, Oxford, admitted keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Catherine Street, a public road, on September 5. Fined £40, vehicle excise back duty £7.50 and costs £85.

MARTIN REALEY, 40, of Mill Lane, East Hendred, Wantage, admitted to using an unlicensed vehicle in Quarry Road, Tonbridge and Malling, on September 27. Fined £200, vehicle excise back duty £101.67 and costs of £85.

AIMAL DAWLATZAI, 19, of Riverside Court, Long Ford Close, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance on Marston Ferry Road, Old Marston, on March 10. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30.

MICHAEL FRANCIS CHRISTOPHER MAUGHAN, 22, of Waldon Road, Marston, admitted driving in Cricket Road, Oxford, without a valid test certificate on November 25. Fined £60, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85.

KANE ANTHONY MICHAEL LAMONT, 23, of Peregrine Way, Grove, admitted failing to stop after a road accident that caused injury to a child passenger in another vehicle. Also admitted failing to report a road accident and driving a vehicle without due care and attention in Oxford Lane, between Denchworth Road and Main Street, Grove, on January 3. Fined £245 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Eight penalty points on licence.
