THE Covered Market’s newest food stall staged an official opening last night.
Souvlaki Brothers, which specialises in Greek-style souvlakis containing lemon chicken, beef meatballs and halloumi on pitta bread, opened their new unit at the market last month.
After serving up street food at festivals and markets, father-of-one Panny Skrivanos, 36, and his brother Yan Skrivanos, 31, opened the new stall.
Last night city council officials and other guests joined staff at the official opening.
