CRIME writers will tonight gather to at Blackwell’s Westgate store to discuss their latest novels.

The novelists include Oxford author Cara Hunter, who will talk about her latest bestseller In The Dark, which features the detective DI Adam Fawley.

Ms Hunter is now writing a series of novels after her debut Close to Home became a Richard and Judy Book Club selection.

The novels in the series are all set in Oxford.

Ms Hunter will be joined at the store in the centre at 7pm by fellow authors JP Delaney, Olivia Kiernan and Lucy Atkins.

The authors will discuss the growth in popularity of psychological thrillers and booming crime fiction sales.

At the end of the discussion there will be an opportunity for questions from the audience and the chance to have books signed by the authors.

Tickets cost £5 and a free glass wine will be served to customers in the bookshop during the event.

Tickets are available online or from Blackwell’s Westgate on 01865 980380.
