A SECONDARY school is holding a party to celebrate its 50th anniversary of comprehensive education on Friday.
Wood Green School, Witney, became the first comprehensive school in the town in 1968, with an intake of 270 students that year.
Individuals connected with the school at that time will attend the event, including ex-teacher Steve Bacon, who has helped plan the celebrations.
The party takes place from 3.30pm to 7pm.
If you would like to attend email 50thCelebration@wgswitney.org.uk.
