May Day rally

Union members are planning to meet at Church Green today for a May Day rally to say ‘No to Austerity’.

Organised by the Oxford and District Trades Union Council, people will assemble in Witney, chosen as it is the Prime Minister’s constituency, at 11am, with a march starting at noon.

Yes to tax cuts for productive workers, yes to cuts in public spending we can't afford and yes to sorting out the public sector pensions bill which will cripple the country for decades to come.

Sounds a bit like shooting themselves in the foot.
Nobody wants austerity but the sensible ones have noticed that the country is bust.There is no other choice.
