Stephen Carey, 47, of Cromwell Court, Banbury, admitted shoplifting two houseplants valued at £8 from Co-op in Banbury on January 6 and committing a further offence while subject to two conditional discharges. Given a six-week curfew and told to pay £8 compensation.
Fiona Hayden, 52, of Main Street, North Newington, admitted drink-driving in Horsefair, Banbury, on March 15. Had 72 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £130, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.
Jean-Patrick Mourenon-Comberti, 41, of Neilston Road, Paisley, Scotland, admitted drink-driving on the M40 at Bicester on February 13. Had 132 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107 milligrams. Fined £580, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
Brian Williams, 45, of Richmond Street, King’s Sutton, admitted driving without due care and attention and driving a vehicle without a test certificate on the A44 at Begbroke on November 11. Fined £415, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given four penalty points.
Ian Beckley, 29, of Thame Road, Piddington, admitted drink-driving in Lambourne Crescent, Bicester, on February 18. Had 132 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-week jail term, suspended for a year, with 180 hours’ unpaid work. Told to pay £85 costs and banned from driving for three years.
John Pullman, 28, of HMP Erlestoke, Wiltshire, admitted assault by beating in Arncott on November 10. Jailed for 16 weeks because “the assault took place on a member of staff at Bullingdon Prison after consuming illegal alcohol”.
Steven Head, 26, of Duke Street, Banbury, admitted driving without due care and attention at the junction of Duke Street and Middleton Road in Banbury on December 7. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given five penalty points.
Slawomir Cierpikowski, 40, of no fixed address, convicted of assault by beating in Banbury on November 20. Told to pay £500 costs and given an indefinite restraining order.
Christopher Gregory, 22, of Hailey Avenue, Chipping Norton, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Chipping Norton Market Place on July 10. Fined £40, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
