Job uncertainty

OXON: Uncertainty surrounds the future of the Oxfordshire branches of Clinton Cards after plans were announced to close 350 stores.

It is not clear whether they are among those to be shut or part of the remainder of the 784-store portfolio to escape the axe.

Administrators at specialist finance firm Zolfo Cooper said details would not be revealed until later today.

I hope it doesn't close. It'll be another high street name disappearing from the rather depleted number of shops in Sheep Street and a sad loss of jobs for those there.
