PRIME Minister and Witney MP David Cameron has officially opened a new £7.4m development in a Witney college campus.

The Abingdon & Witney College project saw two buildings refurbished and a new building constructed.

New facilities include TV and radio studios, editing suites, beauty and hairdressing salons, science labs, a library and student social areas. The project also saw the creation of a new entrance in Welch Way.

Mr Cameron said: “It was great to see the fabulous new facilities, which will complement its clear focus on vocational courses. This is a real asset for young people and will give them a great start in life.”
