FUNDRAISERS darted around the Witney area over the weekend to gather money for a good cause.

Kelly Houghton and Darren Moore were among the people taking part in the first Sobell House Car Rally and Treasure Hunt on Sunday.

They were following clues on a 10-mile route around the town.

Participant Steve Bonner, 31, from Witney, Steve Boyle, of Witney Motor Club, Leigh Grant and Jacob Bonner, had a friend who was helped by Sobell House, which offers end-of-life care.

He said: “It was pretty good fun but I don’t know how I’ve done, though I think we did well.” The route started at the Spires Auto Centre in Witney and finished at the hospice’s warehouse in Station Lane.
