Hole drilled in roof of Tesco

Would-be burglars drilled and cut a hole in the top of the Tesco petrol station on the A40 eastbound at Eynsham.
Nothing was stolen in attempted burglary on Wednesday between midnight and 5.30am.
Det Con Kev Middlecote from Witney police station said: “Tools such as a drill, jigsaw and disc cutter have been used to create the hole. I would like to hear from anyone who may have heard drilling sounds in the early hours of the morning or who noticed anyone suspicious or suspicious activity around this time to contact me”.
