TWO of Oxfordshire's best-loved showbusiness stars will be honoured with blue plaques this weekend.
Comedy legend Ronnie Barker will be honoured with a plaque at his childhood home – 23 Church Cowley Road – today.
Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb will be remembered in a ceremony tomorrow at the house he shared with wife Dwina in Thame. The singer passed away in May following a battle with cancer and pneumonia. People attending a garden party in his honour on Sunday include singer Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch and broadcaster Nicholas Parsons.
The Thame unveiling is closed to the public but people are welcome to Cowley today at 11.30am.
