Power cut affects 1,000 homes in West Oxfordshire

A THOUSAND homes were left without power this in Woodstock and Combe this morning due to a fault at 7.27am.
The majority of homes had their electricity restored by 8.11am, but 87 are still without power in Fawler, Stonesfield and Ditchley Park.
Southern Electric hopes to have the problem fixed within the next hour and apologised for the fault, which it said was caused by a safety trip.
