Hospital an asset to our community

Sir – I would like to point out to your readers how lucky we are to have in our midst the Witney Community Hospital.

I have just been discharged after a three-week in-patient stay there, following a stroke, and I have nothing but praise to offer.

Of course the medical skill of the treatment is the most important thing, and its quality was much appreciated.

Further, though, it was so nice to be treated by everybody in an extremely cheerful and helpful way. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

The food was very good and well served, and the rooms are clean and well serviced.

I can’t quite say that I hope to be back there, but if I did have to go into hospital again I couldn’t hope for any better place to come to than Wenrisc Ward at Witney Community Hospital. Witney is indeed fortunate.
