Sir – The recent roadworks in Bridge Street demonstrated clearly the urgency behind the development of the Shores Green junction to provide entrance and exit both east and west on to the A40.
Such a junction would divert a sufficient proportion of traffic away from the centre of Witney to improve traffic flow in Bridge Street.
May I implore the county council to put all energies and resources behind the creation of a four-way junction at Shores Green?
