Thanks for supporting Poppy Appeal

Sir – I am writing on behalf of the Witney branch of the Royal British Legion to let the people of Witney and the surrounding area know that this year’s Poppy Appeal for this area collected a grand total of £19,663.17.

This figure also included £1,500 of donations given on behalf of the appeal.

We would like to thank everybody for their support.
