Join council in mental health pledge

Sir – I would like to thank all the staff and councillors of Witney Town Council for agreeing to sign the Time to Change pledge to help end mental health discrimination.
Time to Change is a national charity which aims to beat the stigma around ill mental health. The council has made a commitment in making this pledge to support their staff, councillors and the residents of Witney against discrimination based on a person’s mental health.
I would also encourage other Witney-based organisations and individuals to follow the council’s example by making their own pledge to Time to Change and to the people of Witney.
