Sir – I'm not quite sure how Starbucks can even consider opening a branch in Witney because, according to them, they are unable to make a profit trading in the UK.

If they do open, then they certainly won't be getting any custom from me.

On a serious note, the coalition Government should be doing much more to tackle those mega-rich companies and wealthy individuals from being able to divert their money overseas to avoid paying tax.

Indeed, if the Government were successful, then there would be no need for them to mercilessly target the elderly, disabled and vulnerable people with their grossly unfair welfare reforms.

My MP, David Cameron, should be deeply ashamed that, on his watch, the gap between rich and poor has widened sharply, and more and more people pushed into poverty with many facing a very bleak Christmas.

Two Food Banks have opened in his constituency and now the Red Cross are also distributing food to hungry families for the first time since the 1940s. It is a national disgrace.

Come on, Mr Cameron, get after the big fish like Starbucks and leave the little fish alone.
