Sir – May we take this opportunity to thank the service users, volunteers and staff who worked so hard in hosting this year’s fantastic Pathways Christmas carol service held recently at Witney’s Welcome Evangelical Church.
It was a magnificent reminder of the important contribution that people with learning disabilities make in our community.
What is especially good is the number of people attending grows each year, with some coming from outside Witney.
Many complain that the true meaning of Christmas is being lost in the ever-increasing commercial frenzy but here is a clear example of the community coming together and celebrating what’s truly important at Christmas. We’re already looking forward to next year’s service.
