Not the right response

Sir – I was disturbed to see a tweet in my Twitter timeline on January 19 from West Oxfordshire Green Party which read: ‘Greens call for suspension of UKIP councillor’.

Yes, Henley councillor David Silvester’s comments were deluded, but calling for his suspension from the council would basically be trying to censor him for his beliefs.

That’s an attack on freedom of speech in my book and not acceptable.

Two wrongs rarely make a right.
