Thanks for helping me after fall

First published in Letters

Sir – Last Wednesday, while out running with my dog near Madley Park I took a tumble, managing to not only break a tooth and graze my face, but also to break both my arms.

The reason I’m writing is to thank the Good Samaritans who saw me fall and stopped to help, phoning the ambulance and caring for me and for my dog.

I didn't know any of them and was in the ambulance when they left but I'd just like to thank them for all their help.

Without these lovely people, I just don't know what I’d have done.
