Sir – I wonder how many Witney residents are aware of a facility at Witney Community Hospital that offers a wonderful service ?
The coffee shop in the hospital opens on Mondays from 10am to 4pm and from Tuesday to Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
It is staffed by volunteers and serves salads, jacket potatoes, soup and sandwiches, snacks and drinks.
Everything is made on the premises and very reasonably priced.
With so many coffee shops in town to choose from, this one may well get overlooked but it would be good if Witney people supported their local hospital and enjoyed the hospitality that it offers.
Go on, give it a try.
