Sir – It was interesting to note that the appointment of Ian Goddard, as Wood Green School’s new deputy headteacher was tucked away (Witney Gazette, June 4).
The previous management’s lack of leadership on teaching and learning was the main factor in Wood Green School slipping from outstanding to special measures in three years.
I wish the current management all the best in their forthcoming meetings with Ofsted that will hopefully result in Wood Green getting out of special measures very soon.
