Sir – I was admitted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford recently as an emergency patient and remained there for 11 days.
I just wanted to say a great big thank you to the doctors and nurses and every member of the team.
The care and kindness I was shown was wonderful.
I can’t speak highly enough of the compassion that was shown to me by every member of staff – including the catering staff. The food was of a very high quality also.
We hear and read about negative feedback and criticism of the NHS daily, but I can only comment on what I experienced personally. We can never lose our wonderful NHS.
I thank God for the NHS and for the blessing of living in our wonderful country.
