Sir – I would like to agree with everything that Diana Homer said in her letter (Gazette, August 20).
Carterton people especially have to understand that this is our home and not just somewhere for them to speed through on their way home or to work.
I have been nearly run down crossing from the bus stop by an ignorant young man who clearly thought his right to break the speed limit far outweighed an elderly lady’s right to cross the road.
I am really surprised that someone hasn't been killed trying to use the bus stops in Brize Norton.
Carol Faulkner, Daubigny Mead, Brize Norton
