Sir – Back in 2011, David Cameron, MP for Witney, gave a pledge to reduce net immigration ‘That’s a promise to the British people, no ifs or buts’ he said. ‘If I don’t reduce net immigration to the 10s of thousands by 2015, you can kick me out’.
Well, the latest figures confirm that net immigration for the last 12 months was 298,000, adding to our population already touching 63 million. He wanted a Big Society, now we know what he meant!
No ifs, no buts, it’s time for David Cameron to consider his position.
Simon Strutt, UKIP Parliamentary Candidate for Witney and West Oxfordshire
