Sir – It was great to see the report on the Young Farmers’ County Show & Rally in the Witney Gazette by Damian Fantato.
The weather, as he said, did not deter the enjoyment of participants and visitors alike.
I should just like to amend his final paragraph, however, where he states that membership of Young Farmers’ Clubs is open to farmers between 10 and 25 years of age.
YFC is not just for farmers; young people living in, working in and who care about the countryside are all welcome.
It is a great way to learn new skills, develop through healthy competition and have fun.
