Don’t smoke in parks

Sir – After visiting a few of the children’s parks in Witney recently, including the one on The Leys, I have become increasingly aware of the amount of adults smoking within the actual play area itself.
Although I’m not against smoking as a rule, I would have thought this is the last place smoking should be permitted. Is it time for no-smoking signs within our children’s play areas?
