SEVEN-year-old Ryan Holmes was among more than 300 people who joined West Oxfordshire Sailing Club's open day to have a go at sailing, rowing, diving, pond-dipping and canoeing.
The sunshine brought families out in droves and organisers say more than 300 visitors attended the open day, at the club's base near Hardwick on Bank Holiday Monday.
One of the organisers, Jan Tipton, said: "It was fantastic to see so many youngsters outside enjoying the weather and taking part in so many different activities."
It was one of the first opportunities for the club to set sail in their new dinghies, which had been bought with a grant from West Oxfordshire District Council to help youngsters learn to sail.
Mrs Tipton added: "With the weather being so fine, it made for a great Bank Holiday."
