CHRISTMAS came early for one couple when they won a trolley dash at the Co-operative supermarket in Chipping Norton.
Stanley and Mary Wood, from Middle Barton, won the prize in a charity raffle organised by the town’s Lions Club and were treated to a trolley full of festive treats.
Members of the club completed the 90-second dash on behalf of the couple, who are regular shoppers at the store, and picked up Christmas essentials including a turkey and ham.
The Midcounties Co-operative donated £100 worth of food and drink for the supermarket sweep.
