BANBURY MAGISTRATES

  1. Jayne Buzzard, 20, of no fixed address, admitted criminally damaging a glass door panel belonging to Sanctuary Housing at The Foyer, George Street, Banbury, on October 9. Also admitted criminally damaging an intercom panel there on June 12, committing a further offence while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge given at Northern Oxfordshire Magistrates’ Court for theft on August 29. Given a community order with a six-month supervision requirement and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  2. Paul Tweed, 33, of Stanbridge Close, Banbury, admitted threatening to use unlawful violence on another person at Stanbridge Close on October 9. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  3. Wayne Axtell, 32, of Park Close, Yarnton, admitted breaching a Sex Offenders’ Act restraining order by failing to notify authorities of his new address at Park Close on September 29. Fined £75 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  4. Boguslawa Bojarowska, 48, of Kings Court, Carterton, admitted assaulting Pc Channon in Carterton on August 24. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  5. Lily-Ella Dinan, 21, of Ralegh Crescent, Witney, admitted being drunk in charge of a child under seven in Marlborough Lane, Witney, on October 1 while subject to an 18-month conditional discharged given at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on June 7 for shoplifting. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.
  6. Stuart Hutchings, 39, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after a road traffic accident and driving without insurance or a licence on Foundry Street, Banbury, on July 27. Also admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, at Banbury Police Station that day. Banned from holding a driving licence for 12 months and ordered to pay £1,500 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  7. Jessica Tustain, 22, of Howard Road, Banbury, admitted stealing £122.78 worth of meat products from Tesco, Banbury, on September 28 and a bottle of Coke worth £1.49 from Martins Newsagents, Orchard Way, Banbury, on October 3. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on October 13 having been released on bail on September 28. Sent to prison for 10 weeks and ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge.
  8. Melanie Fowler, 36, of Old London Road, Chipping Norton, admitted stealing a jacket and two dinner plates worth £99 from Beales Department Store, Chipping Norton High Street on June 24, while subject to a six-month conditional discharge for theft given at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on June 21. Also admitted stealing a bottle of brandy worth £24.99 from Co-op in Headington, Oxford, on August 16 and failing, without reasonable excuse, to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on October 13, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on September 15. Given a community order requiring six months of drug rehabilitation and a nine-month supervision requirement. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.
  9. Ian Gough, 53, of Apley Way, Witney, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her at Farmington Drive, Witney, on August 29. Given a three-month prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to join a 26-day building better relationships programme. Also given a restraining order not to enter the property in Farmington Drive until October 16, 2016. Ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  10. Paul Boss, 43, of Calthorpe Street, Banbury, admitted assault by beating at the Horton General Hospital on September 7. Fined £175 and told to pay £100 in compensation, a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 in costs.
  11. Hayley James, 35, of Boxhedge Road West, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Boxhedge Road, Banbury, on October 4. Also admitted assaulting Pc Goodman in the execution of her duty. Had 66 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined a total of £185 and given an 18-month driving ban. Ordered to pay £55 in compensation, a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £45 in costs.
  12. Stewart Tyne, 57, of Corn Street, Witney, admitted drink-driving in Welch Way on August 28. Had 337mg of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107mg. Fined £465 and given a 24-month driving ban. Ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £47 and £85 in costs.
  13. Kirsty Walker, 25, of Starnham Road, Ducklington, admitted stealing Carlsberg lager worth £9.99 from a Morrisons store in Witney on October 13. Ordered to pay back the cost of the alcohol in compensation and £40 in costs.
  14. Steven Charlett, 26, of Stowford Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on October 6. Also admitted failing to surrender to the custody of Oxford Magistrates’ Court on October 6. Fined £65 and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £100 in costs.
  15. Shane Jeacock, 26, of Chilton Field Way, Didcot, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when required and suspected of committing a driving offence in Banbury on June 22. Fined £200 and given a six-month driving ban. Ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 in costs.
  16. Timothy Wakeman, 54, of Manor Way, Kidlington, admitted causing criminal damage to a front door in Manor Way on June 14. Also admitted using threatening words or behaviour to harass or distress in Manor Way on June 14. Given a restraining order not to contact the victim directly until October 21, 2015, and fined £700. Ordered to pay £180 in compensation, a victims’ surcharge of £70 and £325 in costs.
  17. Corey Cullen, 22, of Osborne Close, Kidlington, convicted of assault by beating at Osborne Close on August 30. Given a 26-week prison sentence because of the severity of the assault and because of previous convictions. Given a restraining order banning contact with his victim and banning him from Shipton-on-Cherwell. Ordered to pay £500 in compensation.
