A MAN has been arrested after police found what they believe to be more than 50 cannabis plants in Faringdon.
A 39-year-old from Cumnor was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and possession of cannabis on Saturday after police stopped a car in Palmer Road, Faringdon.
Officers found 36 plants inside black bin liners in the car, and then later found about 18 more plants and further evidence of production of Class B drugs at an address in Gilligans Way, Faringdon, said police spokeswoman Helen Thorne.
The man has been released on police bail until May 12.
