A CRICKET game was halted today after an emergency air ambulance had to land on the pitch.
South Central Ambulance Service was called to Chapel Road in Chadlington at about 2pm today due to a medical emergency.
One patient was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital by land ambulance but an air ambulance also attended, landing at nearby Chadlington Sports Ground.
A cricket game had to be temporarily stopped so the helicopter could land.
The ambulance service was not able to give any more details about the medical emergency.
