CCTV images from a ram raid at The Co-operative in Milton-under-Wychwood have been released by police.

A stolen, dark-coloured Isuzu Trooper was driven into the front of the store in Shipton Road at about 12.45am on Saturday.

The thieves inside the car then used it to drag an ATM machine out of the shop before dragging it behind the car as they drove off in the direction of the A424 Stow Road.

Several vehicles were damaged as the Isuzu left the village but the ATM machine disconnected from it and was left behind with all the money still inside.

Today police released images of a white A Class Mercedes AMG which was also involved in the raid as well as men seen wearing masks at the store.

Two other vehicles, a dark-coloured BMW with a concealed number plate and a small white car, possibly a Vauxhall Corsa or Fiat 400, were also involved.

PC Adam Taylor said: "Today we are releasing CCTV images of the scene and one of the vehicles involved, a white A class Mercedes AMG, with a panoramic roof and blacked out wheel rims.

"If you recognise any of the people in the images or the vehicle, or have any other information about the offences please contact police.

"Your information could help bring the perpetrators to justice so please pick up the phone and call us."
